No, there is no requirement to have the state application and fingerprints submitted before taking a pre-licensing course. However, the earlier you can accomplish these two things, the quicker you can schedule a state exam date.
Now register for our course, of course! After you successfully complete your course at Zenith, you must bring your course completion slip with you to the state exam. To schedule your exam, contact the state testing vendor. PearsonVUE has test locations throughout Florida and across the US. You can make an appointment online, or by calling (888) 204-6289. You will not be able to schedule an appointment for the state exam until you have passed the background check, application requirements AND have received the confirmation email from PersonVUE which contains your Candidate ID number to gain access to their website. The state exam is a 100 question multiple choice test with a passing score of 75%. If you fail the licensing exam, you may retake it as many times as necessary, as soon as you can make a new appointment.

I wish I had asked this question before choosing the school I did when I became a licensed real estate agent! I chose a well known and popular real estate school for
my pre-license education and my experience was a horrible one! The Instructor was there for a paycheck and not because of a passion for teaching. He was more concerned with his current real estate business and not my future, for which I invested several hundred dollars. I knew I could do better and I was not even licensed yet! Zenith is MY school, MY passion, and I teach every single class. I am very much invested in YOUR success because YOUR success is also MY success. I am not interested in becoming so large that I have multiple classroom locations with extra instructors. I keep my class sizes to a minimum so that you won't get lost in a crowd and I can make sure that you understand the topics needed to pass the state exam. I am just as much invested as you are in your future!
